At Castle, we can count on a highly experienced crew, with in-house specialists in all areas of construction, allowing us to carry out building work, as opposed to having to resort to subcontracting. This assures that, on completion, the build is of the highest quality, designed to meet local council requirements whilst complementing the surroundings.

New Builds

Castle Building & Developments will be there for you at every step of your build; starting from the design itself – tailor made to suit your needs. We are there for you to deal with the bureaucracy surrounding your dream home – architects, building licenses, and of course the installations of water, electricity etc. – all made easy.

Using computer generated 3D designs, we can develop a home that is as practical as it is beautiful, made to measure, and ready for the architect's project. Castle is here to advise on the best materials to use, the style of finish, we are even at your service for choosing tiles and kitchen units – all geared towards a home both economically available and aesthetically pleasing! All of our new builds come as standard with white aluminium windows, including shutters and ornate grills, white aluminium external doors and solid pine internal doors. We offer a wide selection of floor tiles, bathroom/kitchen tiling and even roof tiles. Sanitary ware is included in the price, as well as a standard kitchen. We also make available an extensive list of optional extras, some examples being stone cladding, fireplace/wood burning stove, central heating, air conditioning all there for you to tailor your home to your lifestyle.

Prices start at just €750 per metre square but budget options are also available.

Restorations

This is one of Castle's specialist areas – we have both the imagination and the expertise needed to bring out the best in old properties, seeing behind the initial state and bringing out the beauty and character in old properties.

Our specialists are more than capable of advising on structural integrity, as well as how best to re-work the property itself, maintaining the authentic atmosphere when completed. This is easily explained through the use of accurate 3D computer generated models of all the possible designs, easily transcribed to a finished build.

Castle staff is also at hand with a list of suitable properties to buy. Whether for a possible investment, or a long term home, we can provide estimate costs to you for the restoration, inform on possible returns for an investment and suggest the best ways of using the available property and it's potential.

Our prices are competitive and of course they will vary with each house.

Garages

Our garages are built much like our houses, with the best quality materials to ensure sound structure and durability. All our garages have steel reinforced foundations and ring beams and, depending on size, may also have steel reinforced pillars. They are always finished in a style to mirror the main property and include roof tiles to match the home, an up and over garage door, aluminium window with shutters and an ornate grill to match main house, overhead lighting and 1 double power socket. They are rendered on the outside, plastered on the inside and have a smooth finish concrete floor with ramp. Larger garages also include a white aluminium side door.

Prices start at just €7,000 for a standard single garage of 6m x 4m

Extensions and Covered Terraces

When moving to Spain, it is all too easy to underestimate the space needed when relocating. Extensions are often a useful addition to the property. At Castle we are here to advise on the best possible way to make this blend into the original build and not seem like an afterthought.

Like other works, our extensions and covered terraces always have steel reinforced foundations and ring beams. They are tied in to the main house and are designed to appear as part of the original property. We use the same style finish both externally and internally to make the finished product look like it has always been there.

Prices start at €600 per sqaure metre and vary according to type of finish required.

Swimming Pools

Unlike any other construction company, Castle pools are built with a double layer of 12mm steel mesh and approximately 50cm of concrete. We want you to enjoy your swimming pool, so we build it to the highest standards. They are available in a choice of colours for both coping stones and mosaic tiles and a variety of designs are available as standard.

The price includes excavation, construction, tiling, all plumbing, pump house inc. pump filter etc. coping stones, 2 jets, 2 skimmers, a vacuum inlet, 2 lights with a transformer, a pool shower and a set of cleaning equipment. With every finished pool, Castle will explain in simple and easily understood steps the guidelines on pool care and maintenance for the installation.

There are a number of optional extras available such as salt water chlorination, automatic water top up and advice on the most suitable options for each individual.

Prices vary according to size and design however a standard 8m x 4m pool with roman step extension is €15,000 all inc.
